Book one

Two murders, a reluctant private investigator, a flamboyant ex-con, an enigmatic dominatrix and a political scandal that could bring down the government…

Sick of chasing cheating spouses, disillusioned private investigator Jude Lawson is convinced by her side-kick to look into the closed murder case of two queer activists linked to a political scandal that could bring down the government during the same-sex marriage campaign in Australia; when she falls for a witness who offers to help her catch the murderer, Jude re-discovers her sense purpose and sets a risky trap to catch the killer before he catches them.

Book two

I am working on my second manuscript, the next investigative adventure of Jude Lawson which takes her to a small town in East Gippsland.

What if a private investigator looking into the death of an environmental activist uncovers a link to her own past and a devastating secret that will turn her world upside down?

Jude Lawson is hired by a university student and environmental activist to find out what happened to her boyfriend who was found dead in a logging coupe in East Gippsland. The coroner deemed it a suicide, but his girlfriend doesn’t believe it.

Ask Balder, an ageing academic on the cusp of retirement carries a long held guilt that he may have contributed to the death of an old friend Harvey twenty years earlier. Harvey’s only surviving family member was a girl called Jude who Ask has not seen since Harvey’s death. When Askr finds out one of his students has hired Jude, now a private investigator, he decides he needs to set the record straight.

When Jude goes to Gippsland and uncovers information that could lead to the truth about her fathers death twenty years earlier, she realises she has two investigations, but small town suspicion of outsiders present barriers to the truth. What Jude eventually discovers will change her life forever.
